Another family ritual is doughnuts on the weekend. My husband will take the boys to Krispy Kreme and get a dozen or two doughnuts and bring them home. My youngest has always called doughnuts, "No-Nees." This morning, we all loaded in the van to head to get the doughnuts. The boys wanted to see if Nick knew where we were going while we were on the road. I was positive that the minute we turned down the road beside Target, he would know where we were going. They kept asking him, "Nick, do you know where we're going?" He kept saying, "No." As soon as we turned down the road beside Target, Nick said, "No-Nee!" The whole car burst into laughter. Yes! Mommy wins.
