This is the blanket I cover up with when sitting in my chair to watch television or to work on my laptop. We got this as a wedding present in 1996 from a high school friend of my husband's. It's no longer pretty with its many snags and snarls, but it sure is warm and cozy. My two-year-old calls all blankets "gee gees" (don't ask me where
that came from) and this one is "Mama's gee gee." It's time for another weekend and many comfortable hours curled up with my "gee gee."
