Today was a family birthday party for my husband's aunt and mom's cousin. At this party, his cousin Nikki was planning to announce the gender of her second child, due in June. She had her mom's cake decorated to say, "Happy Birthday Grandma! It's a ..." When she cut it open, the color of the cake would indicate if it was a boy or girl. We were all thrilled when the pink center was revealed. On that side of the family, we have three boys and she has one. So, the addition of a girl to that mix will be terrific.
